Jessica Gold, a.k.a “Baby Gold” is Bruce and Barbara’s daughter, as well as their close friend and colleague. Jessica is a certified CrossFit coach, personal trainer, yoga instructor and avid whitewater kayaker. She was devastated when she suddenly came down with a severe autoimmune disorder affecting her joints. After years of expensive and aggressive drug therapy (which wasn’t working), she discovered she could manage her symptoms through nutrition alone. Minor dietary changes have allowed her to achieve remission of the condition without the use of any pharmaceutical therapy. Her success in managing her own health care through nutrition led her to many years of self-motivated research and she is currently in school for nutritional therapy. At Gentle Chiropractic Plus she offers nutritional and supplemental programs for autoimmune disorders, IBS, SIBO, fat loss, body composition, and more. She is also available for personal training and leads many of our more challenging yoga classes.
Barbara Gold is Dr. Gold’s beloved wife and the finest front desk and insurance wonder woman we could ask for. She graduated from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology, then went on to complete one of the nation’s first Physician Assistant training programs at the University of Kentucky. After spending thirty years in the medical and pharmaceutical industry, she has come to embrace Chiropractic and nutrition as the basis of good health care and the first line of defense against chronic, degenerative diseases.
